CRUISE - How to build an Igloo Hotel

Embark on an extraordinary journey at Sorrisniva as we offer guests the chance to witness the creation of our renowned Igloo Hotel - an experience like no other!Nestled in the serene surroundings along the banks of the Alta River, just 20 km from Alta city center, our annual Igloo Hotel is a marvel to behold. Spanning approximately 2500 square meters, this architectural wonder is meticulously crafted from snow and ice, both inside and out. Featuring 27 bedrooms, 5 uniquely designed suites reflecting the theme of the year, a bar, ice chapel, playroom, and communal area, the Igloo Hotel offers a truly immersive experience.

Decorated with breathtaking ice and snow sculptures handcrafted by local artists, each year's theme ensures a one-of-a-kind encounter for our guests. Upon arrival, our knowledgeable guides provide insight into the history and construction techniques of the snow and ice hotel, as well as its intricate decorations, ensuring it remains a captivating attraction throughout the winter season.

The visit and how the visit is carried out depends on how far the built has progressed. Guests are shown a movie of one of the earlier Igloo Hotels in its final format, followed by a visit of the construction site and an ice drink, served around the bonfire in a glass made of ice.
